The BCRSP Governing Board recently approved changes to the CPD Program in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The changes are aimed to alleviate the impact that certificants may be experiencing due to the current limit on professional development offerings to ensure certificants can meet the CPD requirements.

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO – July 1, 2020 The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) announces that David Johnston, CRSP is appointed as the Governing Board Chair effective July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. David Johnston is the twenty-fifth Chair since the certification body’s incorporation in 1976 and succeeds Monica Szabo who has served as Chair since July 2019.

As the BCRSP Governing Board Chair, David Johnston will lead the Governing Board through the execution of its strategic plan and vision.

Mississauga, ON – June 29, 2020 — The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 BCRSP Recognition Awards, which were given out at today's virtual annual general meeting.

The purpose of the awards program is to recognize one individual and one organization/employer who are Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)® or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) brand advocates.

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO – June 19, 2020: Workplace tragedy turns all aspects of life upside-down. But four individuals will receive a hand in healing and taking their next steps, thanks to scholarships from Threads of Life and the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP). The scholarships are being awarded to four individuals affected by workplace tragedy, who will be attending post-secondary institutions this fall.
