Introduction
Do you know someone or an organization/employer who are strong advocates for the CRSP® or CRST® certification? If so, nominate them today for the 2026 BCRSP Recognition Awards!
The purpose of the awards program is to recognize one individual and one organization/employer who are strong CRSP® or CRST® brand advocates. Winners will receive an award and be recognized publicly through a press release and on social media.
The Awards
The awards established are
- Individual certificant category: recognizes a BCRSP certificant who has demonstrated exceptional support and promotion of the CRSP® or CRST® certification.
- Organization/Employer category: recognizes an organization/employer who has demonstrated exceptional support for their CRSP® and/or CRST® certified employees, and promotion of the CRSP® and/or CRST® certification to their employees.

Criteria - Individual
The nominee must hold the CRSP® or CRST® certification, and must be in good standing with the BCRSP.
The applicant must provide a submission for the following questions and responses should be 100-300 words:
1. Please highlight the positive outcomes you have observed as a result of your certification and incorporation of BCRSP’s values within your workplace role.
2. Describe your efforts to mentor and support emerging professionals and future leaders in pursuing the CRSP® or CRST® certification(s).
- Deadline for submissions is April 10, 2026.
- Previous award winners are not permitted to submit.
- Additional supporting documentation may be requested by review panel.
- Applicant will be interviewed if their submission is shortlisted.
Criteria - Organization
The applicant must provide a submission for the following question and responses should be a minimum of 150 words:
1. Please highlight how your organization has demonstrated exceptional support for BCRSP-certified employees and actively promotes the CRSP® and/or CRST® designation among your staff. Your response may address the following themes:
- Advancing excellence in OHS: Describe how your organization supports OHS practitioners in obtaining and maintaining CRSP® or CRST® certification.
- Embedding certification into organizational culture: Explain how certification is valued and integrated into your organization’s culture, leadership expectations, and approach to health and safety.
- Influence beyond the organization: Describe how your organization supports OHS certification-related activities that extend beyond the workplace.
- Positive outcomes and impact: Share the tangible and intangible benefits that have resulted from having BCRSP-certified professionals within your organization.
- Deadline for submissions is April 10, 2026.
