December 10, 2024Effective January 1, 2025, the CPD late fee is increasing to $200.00 CDN plus applicable taxes.
December 10, 2024Effective January 1, 2025, the application fee for applications submitted under memorandum of understanding process is increasing to $125.00. CDN plus applicable taxes.
September 1, 2024The IOSH Memorandum of Understanding has been put on hold to allow for a review and update of the MOU. Applications submitted under this MOU process will not be eligible to be processed until the review is completed and an updated agreement is in place.

July 4, 2024

Effective January 1 2025 - New CRSP Examination Blueprint comes into effect commencing with the February 2025 CRSP Examination Writing Window. The CRSP Examination length will also increase for 3.5 hours to 4 hours and the examination fee will increase to $200.00.

April 2, 2024A new certificate design for both the CRSP and CRST certifications will be used commencing the 2024 certification approvals.
August 15, 2023

New CRST Examination Blueprint Published.  

First examination administered with this blueprint will be March 2024.

July 1 2023Effective with the March 2024 CRST Examination, a new CRST Examination Blueprint will be utilized. The new Blueprint will be released by September 2023.

May 2022The IOSH Memorandum of Understanding has been put on hold to allow for a review and update of the MOU. Applications submitted under this MOU process will not be eligible to be processed until the review is completed and an updated agreement is in place. This has now been lifted and applications under the MOU are being accepted again (August 2022)
October 2021Commencing in 2022, BCRSP examination score reports will be changing. Unsuccessful candidates will receive a performance report with a scaled score, and successful candidates will receive a pass notification only (no score). A scaled score is a representation of the total number of correct questions a candidate has answered (raw score) that has been converted to a consistent and standardized scale. More information will be provided on this change to examination candidates in 2022. 
February 2021Examination Reference Text Lists Updated
January 2021CRSP eligibility guidelines removed distinction between 3-year and 4-year Bachelor's degrees. Any Bachelor's degree from an accredited Canadian university or equivalent will be considered as meeting the base requirement for CRSP certification applications.
