Collaborative Research Investment: Examining the Value of Using Safety Professionals

Mississauga (March 15, 2022) - The International Network of Safety and Health Professional Organisations (INSHPO), in collaboration with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), the BCSP Foundation, the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP), and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), has announced a collective research investment directed at measuring the impact and value of using safety professionals in the workplace.

40 OHS Practitioners Awarded Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) Certification

The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) is pleased to announce 40 individuals were awarded the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) certification on October 8, 2021. 

The CRST certification was introduced in 2018 to support the evolving needs of industry. The CRST certification process requires individuals to meet qualification standards, including education and experience requirements, pass the CRST Examination, and stay up to date through a continuous professional development process.
