Plagiarism Detection Disclosure

BCRSP applications submitted for consideration for certification are now subject to an automated analysis. Information that an applicant submits on the narrative of their application, will be run through analysis to detect similarity between candidate responses. We are committed to protecting your privacy. No personally identifiable information (PII) will be used in our calculations unless you explicitly include it in your narrative. The data you submit will be utilized solely for statistical analysis with the goal of reducing fraud within our process.

As a result of this analysis if detection of potential plagiarism is identified, the BCRSP Qualifications Review Committee (QRC) and administrative staff will review the data and make a determination of next steps. Please note that the BCRSP expects applicants to complete the application for certification using their own words on questions where a narrative response is requested. Applicants should not cut and paste information from job descriptions or other documents into these sections.
