Request for Proposal to Review/Revise the MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (MS) formerly OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT SYSTEMS (OES) Domain
The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) is seeking a subject matter expert to review and revise the Management Systems (formerly called Occupational Health and Safety and Environment Systems) study guide/domain (copy attached) to serve as resource material for potential CRSP candidates preparing to write the CRSP certification examination (CRSPEX).
The BCRSP has undertaken the development of the study guides resulting from surveys of CRSPs to identify important areas of practice for the OHS generalist. The Board has identified nine domains (subject areas), one of which is Management Systems (MS) (formerly entitled Occupational Health Safety and Environment Systems) which represents between 11-15% of the questions on any given CRSPEX.
The Board is seeking a Management Systems (MS) (formerly entitled Occupational Health Safety and Environment Systems) subject matter expert for the following:
- review the current study guide against the new 2015 CRSP Examination Blueprint.
- identify those areas requiring revision.
- revise the current study guide.
The Board would like to keep to the following schedule of milestones for the project:
- September 30, 2014 Draft outline of recommended revisions to the current domain.
- October 30, 2014 Draft revised domain.
- November 15, 2014 Respond to any comments by the Certification and Examination
Committee about the submitted drafts.
Under the contract for this work, you would be relinquishing all your rights in the copyright of the materials. The Board would acknowledge you as the author of the domain on the title page of the study guide.
