The following OHS programs have met the minimum educational requirements for the CRST certification.

Programs approved for the CRSP certification eligibility also qualify for the CRST eligibility.

Pathway A: One Year OHS Certificate:

Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Systems (COHSES) OR Diploma in Safety, Health and Environmental Management

British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) BCIT has two pathways for students to meet the academic requirements to be eligible to apply for the CRST certification. They can complete the
•    Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or,
•    Associate Certificate in Fundamentals of Occupational Health and Safety.
